A Note on Advertising
Word of Mouth
Would that all billboards were become trees! The Library does not advertise. If you would like it to be better known, please tell all your friends to reserve a copy of The Night Land.
Editorial Practice
The Library uses AI extensively for research assistance, transcription, text and metadata extraction, proofreading, fact-checking, source and edition comparison, cataloguing, indexing, file organization, document conversion, formatting, website maintenance, and other repetitive or time-consuming tasks.
AI also serves as an editorial adviser, proposing and comparing options for textual treatment, typography, page and book dimensions, paper, binding materials, cover design, illustrations, front and back matter, and other matters of editorial presentation. These suggestions are considered by the editor, who makes the decisions.
The mechanical application of editorial rules is sometimes delegated to AI.
A capable large language model may provide provisional translations of works that remain unavailable in English, or for which existing English translations are incomplete, inaccessible, or otherwise unsuitable for a new edition. Apart from such translations, AI does not write original material for publication.
Questions, corrections, suggestions, and other inquiries are welcome.
